About the Principal
Scott Carothers is a CPA with over 19 years of direct, hands-on
experience in finance and accounting. Mr. Carothers confidently
addressed and managed an array of complex corporate issues –
in both the public and private sectors. Public company reporting,
consolidations and strategic planning are all areas within his expertise.
Having worked closely with the Executive Committee and CEO of a
substantial regional brokerage firm for nearly a decade, Mr. Carothers
knows the importance of working in a results-oriented team environment
as well as how to succinctly present a firm’s financial information
in a meaningful and usable fashion.
Mr. Carothers was instrumental in formulating a reverse merger that
resulted in his company immediately growing tenfold. In addition,
he has been involved in structuring financings for public and private
companies, valuations, cash flow projections and competitive analysis.
However, down-in-the-trenches accounting work is his specialty.
He has managed cash flow, prepared cash flow needs analysis, and
administered employee 401(K) plans, ESOP plans and employee benefit
programs.
Scott has a B.S. in business administration,
major in accounting, from Colorado State University.
